Pictama Studios Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all sales of products and services provided by Pictama Ltd, registered in England and Wales (Company No. 11766282), registered office at Pictama Ltd Unit A, 82 James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Suffolk, England, IP28 7DE, trading as Pictama Studios (“Pictama Studios”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Definitions
- Customer / you / your: The person or business placing an order
- Designs: Any designs or printed material supplied by Pictama Studios
- Order: A request by the Customer for Goods
- Contract: The agreement between Pictama Studios and the Customer, governed by these Terms
Orders
- Orders must be placed via our website or confirmed in writing.
- Once submitted, Orders will proceed to production unless otherwise agreed.
- Any amendments to an Order (including artwork, layout, or sizing) must be made in writing and may result in additional costs or revised lead times.
- Orders requiring artwork checks or approval will not enter production until approval is confirmed.
- We reserve the right to refuse, amend, or cancel any Order at our discretion, including where content is unlawful, offensive, or infringes third-party rights.
Order Cancellations
- Orders may only be cancelled prior to entering production.
- Once an Order has entered production, cancellation or modification is not possible and no refund will be issued.
Pricing and Payment
- Prices are as displayed at the time of Order and may change without notice.
- In the event of a pricing or system error, we reserve the right to amend or cancel the Order and will notify you promptly.
- Payment is required in full at the time of Order unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Ownership of Goods remains with Pictama Studios until payment is received in full.
- Overdue payments may accrue interest at 8% per annum in line with statutory regulations.
Production, Quality & Variance
- Pictama Studios operates within standard industry tolerances.
- Colour output may vary depending on artwork quality, file preparation, RIP settings.
- We cannot guarantee colour matching unless a paid sample or agreed proofing service has been used.
- Computer monitors and devices display colours differently, we cannot guarantee print colours will match colours viewed on screen or when printed. For these reasons, we do not accept returns based on colour nor do we accept returns for approved proof errors.
Artwork & File Responsibility
- Customers are responsible for supplying print-ready artwork.
- We do not accept liability for errors contained within approved or supplied files, including spelling, sizing, alignment, or resolution issues.
- We do not guarantee results where artwork is low resolution, incorrectly formatted.
- Any artwork assistance or checks provided are offered in good faith and do not remove Customer responsibility for final output.
Permission to Print Submitted Artwork
You confirm that you own, licence, or otherwise have the legal right to use all artwork, logos, and designs submitted and grant us permission to print them.
You agree to indemnify Pictama Studios against any claims, costs, or losses arising from intellectual property disputes.
Third-Party Tools
Pictama Studios may provide access to third-party tools to assist with file preparation.
- These tools are operated by third parties.
- We are not liable for errors, defects, or data loss arising from their use.
- By using them, you agree to the third party’s terms and accept responsibility for final file accuracy.
Delivery
- Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees.
- We are not liable for delays caused by couriers, force majeure events, or factors outside our control.
- Risk passes to the Customer upon delivery.
- Any shortages, damage, or errors must be reported within 48 hours of delivery and confirmed in writing within 3 working days.
Returns & Refunds
Due to the custom nature of printed transfers:
- Faulty Goods must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with supporting evidence.
- We reserve the right to replace, reprint, or refund at our discretion.
Intellectual Property
All website content, branding, text, images, and systems remain the property of Pictama Studios or its licensors.
You may not copy, reproduce, or use our content without written permission.
Liability
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or economic loss, including loss of profit or business.
- Liability is limited to the value of the Goods supplied.
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability where unlawful to do so, including death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including supply chain disruption, equipment failure, transport issues, or government action.
Termination / Refusal of Service
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service where:
- These Terms are breached
- Payment is not received
- Content is unlawful or inappropriate
Written Communications
By placing an Order, you agree to electronic communication as valid written notice.

Governing Law
These Terms are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
